The state of Indiana has made a step forward regarding sports betting. The Indiana Gaming Commission finally made the decision to publish the full list of sports state where bettors will be able to place bets on in the gambling venues all around the state. The list revealed that the bettors will be able to wager on sports like football, basketball, baseball, professional darts, bowling, and other less popular sports.

Indiana’s state regulator revealed details regarding the sports that betting action is permitted on in just a short period of time after it issued temporary licenses for the fee of retail betting at three off-track betting venues and the 10 of Indiana’s 12 casinos.

In addition, it is important to know that Indiana is among the states which legalized sports betting in the past few months of this year by signing into law the authorized bill by Eric Holcom, the current governor of the state of Indiana, in the first days of May.

This bill is considered to be one of the largest changes to the state’s gaming industry in the past few decades. The reason why it plays such an important role is that never before the state of Indiana has allowed mobile gambling and never before a casino license has been moved to a different county.

The Indiana Gaming Commission is expected to adopt the rules that would govern the state’s betting industry at the regulator’s meeting on August 28th. With these new rules, the bettors will be able to place wagers with the use of electronic kiosks at the authorized gambling venues or at betting windows at the sportsbooks while mobile betting would go live later on. On the other hand, the bettors could also enjoy the display of sports events that were approved for wagering by the Gaming Commission as well.
